From the pristine waters and rugged majesty of Bighorn Country and the East Slopes, you’ll cast your line in some of the province’s most iconic trout waters. Surrounded by towering peaks and untouched wilderness, this is more than a fishing trip—it’s a journey into Alberta’s soul. Are you ready to make memories as wild as the fish you’ll catch?

When ~ Pick your date, or give Reid a call at the shop to schedule a different date (if available).
Where ~ 3 hours west of Edmonton, meet Reid at location.
Length of trip ~ Day trip (approx. 8 hrs on the water).
What's included ~ guided fly fishing, flies, leader & tippet material, snacks, use of rods and reels if needed.
What's not included ~ transportation to location, waders, wading boots, weather appropriate clothing.
Maximum number of clients for this trip ~ two people. Multi-day trips for up to four clients can be arranged with a second guide and can include accommodations and meals, please contact Reid to see what may be available.
Back country walk and wade trips with Reid are limited to select dates for the 2025 season, but we have other local trip options available through both Reid and James - River Valley Guiding Co.
